You'd think with all the time I spend not sleeping I'd have a lot of time to share more pictures on my blog.  Turns out that's not the case because I spend most of my time eating, crying, and pooping!  Dad had to go to LA for work this week and I miss him a lot.  He gets back tomorrow and I can't wait to see him!!  Since he's been gone, Grandma came to help Mom.  Mom loves having her in town because that means she gets to sleep more. Mom passes me off to Grandma to do the dirty work- like changing my diapers!

My First Bath

After two weeks, Mom and Dad decided to give me a bath today!  It was an interesting adventure, and I'm not sure if I really liked it.  I did keep things exciting by pooping in the "bath tub" though!  Check out pictures of the new, clean me and a few others from earlier in the week!

I know, I've been a slacker, but I've been so busy eating and sleeping and spending time with all my family in town.  I got to spend a lot of time with all my grandparents and my aunt and uncles!  After two weeks of help, Grandma and Nana are gone so tonight's the first night alone with Mom and Dad- wish us luck!

Today Mom and Dad took me to my first pediatrician's appointment and everything was great!  I lost a little weight, but that was expected.  Dad took this picture of me before we left- I'm so cute!

Welcome to the world, me!!!

Great news!!  I was born Saturday 4/9/11 at 11:01pm after a short four hours of labor.  Mom and Dad were surprised that I was a girl, but they couldn't be happier and more in love with me!  At birth, I was 6 lbs 5.5 ozs and 19.5 in long.  I am the cutest baby in the entire world and my family loves me more and more every minute!!  Stay tuned for more pictures, but here are just a few from the very first minutes of my life!

False Alarm

I've been playing a couple tricks on Mom and Dad these past few days.  It all started on Wed when Mom started having her first painful contractions.  She eventually went to sleep and felt great on Thursday.  Then today, I took it to a whole new level and made them think today would be my birthday.  After an uncomfortable night of contractions, the doctor told Mom to go to the hospital so when they showed up with their suitcase, they were hoping the next time they left would be with me.  Mom was hooked up to the monitors and when the doctor walked in on Mom texting, they both agreed it was time to go home!  Mom and Dad had a great night though- they went out to dinner with my Great Aunt Linda.  Check out the pictures from this week which include a movie premiere where Mom and Dad had dinner with Dr. Ruth, Mom and Dad's visit to the hospital, and dinner:

39 Weeks!!

Will this be my last post before I'm born?!  Or will I decide to make everyone wait another week??  Everyone is so excited to see who (and what) I am!  Every time Mom calls any one she has to start off by saying "Not in labor..." but one of these days, it will be the real deal.  Check out the pictures of Mom from this week.  She might look exhausted now but she has no idea what I have in store for her!
