Showing Mom Who's Boss

Mom was getting a little too cocky with her "small" baby bump so I decided to show her who calls the shots these days.  I'll be growing a lot these next few weeks so it's only fair she grows with me.

Still 28 Weeks...

Every Sunday, Mom and Dad read about what they can expect in the week to come.  Thankfully Mom hasn't experienced a lot of the discomfort the book mentions, but she had her first episode of what we like to call pregnancy-induced mood swings.  Mom and Dad were talking about how often to work out, and instead of calmly disagreeing, Mom decided to tell Dad he was asking her to lead an "unhealthy lifestyle" and unleashed uncontrollable tears.  Dad was very supportive and tried to calm down her crazy ways...and also took a video to show me what I'm doing to Mom!  Now that she's regained her composure, here is a picture to show how big (and cute?) she's getting!

28 Weeks

Third Trimester

Welcome to my THIRD trimester!  I can't believe only 12 more weeks until I'm outta here!  Mom, Dad and I had a great week.  Even though Dad had a business trip in Miami for a few days, my grandparents from Chicago came to spend time with Mom and me.  Dad surprised us by coming home for a night before Mom and Dad headed back down to Florida for their babymoon!  We all had a chance to relax, and I learned a new trick where it seems as though I'm taking a running start before I kick Mom in the ribs!!  Doesn't that sound great?!

Mom's feeling great, but she's been forgetful lately.  She forgot to charge the camera battery before the babymoon AND forgot to bring the recharger down to Florida, so we have to get the old school disposable camera developed before you can see those pictures...

And finally, I'm so excited about my new friend!!!  Mom and Dad's friends, the Kokemors, just had an adorable baby girl- I can't wait to meet my new girlfriend or best friend soon!!

Happy New Year!

2011 is going to be a VERY exciting year- it's the year of me!!  I've been so busy relaxing in Florida and Jamaica for the past two weeks but I'm finally back!  I'm getting pretty big these days!  I only weigh 1.5 lbs, but by the looks of it, I should be a lot more.  Mom and Dad have my monthly appointment with the doctor on Thursday and then they start going every 2 weeks now that we're in the third trimester.  

We had a great time in Florida and Jamaica.

25 weeks

Mom and Dad's good friends, Ben and Stephanie, got married on New Year's Eve and we got to celebrate with family and some of Dad's best friends!
