Pictures...FINALLY!!

I'm back and I have so many great pictures to share with all of you!  We have done so much in these past 3 weeks which is why I haven't posted any pictures, but I promise I'll be better now!  Well, where to begin!  Over Memorial Day, Mom, Dad and I went to Ithaca for Uncle Scott's graduation.  The next weekend was my first flight (I did a GREAT job) to Chicago and then we went to Cincinnati the week after for Father's Day.  Now we're just hanging out in NY for the next few weeks until we go to the Cape!  Well, enough of this...here's what you've all been waiting for!

I'm back again but not for long!!  I just wanted to apologize for my most recent hiatus.  It's not my fault, I promise!  Mom likes to keep things exciting- last week she had to go to the ER because she had a bad reaction to her antibiotic =(  She's starting to feel better though, thank god!  Mom, Dad and I took my first flight to Chicago for my cousin's bar mitzvah.  We had a great time even though I was asleep for most of the party.  Mom and I are staying here a few more days so Grandma and Papa can take care of my poor mom.  I promise once she's better we'll start posting more pictures!

More Family Fun!

I think I'm the most popular and most loved baby in this world!  Nana left on Wednesday so Mom, Dad and I were on our own for the past two nights.  I've been very thoughtful and let my parents sleep at least 5 hours straight at night.  This weekend we're going to Ithaca for Uncle Scott's graduation.  I'm sure I'll have a lot of new pictures but in the mean time, here are a couple pictures of my cute little face.

Mom and Dad Celebrate 2 Years!

Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad!  Tonight they're having a romantic night out while Nana babysits.  Nana's been in town all week helping out.  She was even here for my biggest milestone yet- sleeping 6.5 hours straight!  I didn't want Mom to get used to a good night's sleep so I only slept 3.5 hours last night before I got hungry again.

Last weekend I got to hang out with Nana, Grandpa, Uncle Sam, and Aunt Julia.  We had a great time playing around and sticking our tongues out at each other (another one of my new tricks).  I've started focusing more.  My new favorite thing to look at is that mobile over my swing.  Sometimes I'm not sure who likes the swing more: mom or me!

An Ode to Mommy

What a crazy few weeks we've had!!  I just wanted to tell everyone how relieved I am that mom is FINALLY feeling better after several doctor's appointments including a visit to the radiologist and breast surgeon.  I will definitely remember everything she did for me in these past 6 weeks when I'm older and embarrassed to go places with her!  Here's what happened to my wonderful, beautiful, loving, and amazing mommy (and I promise it's me writing this, not her!):

Last week mom knew something was wrong because one of my milkshakes was bright red, hard and extremely painful.  The brilliant lactation consultants said "wow, that looks painful.  Maybe you should try an epsom salt bath."  Mom thought that was the most ridiculous advice ever so she called her dr who told her to come in immediately.  The OB knew something was wrong and told mom if it got any worse to call and head to the hospital immediately...yikes!  Mom then went to a radiologist who found two abscesses which was what caused all the redness/inflammation and pain.  Once he removed them, she felt better!  She then had follow up visits with her OB and a breast surgeon to make sure she was doing better, and thankfully she is!  At her drs visit yesterday she learned that less than 1% of breastfeeding women get abscesses, her doctor sees them maybe once a year, and the lactation consultant has only worked with 3 women with abscesses in the past 15 years.  That mom of mine is one in a million!

Everything is going great now- I'm eating like a champion and most importantly, Mom is feeling much better!  Thank you, Mommy!  I love you!!!!!!!

I'm baaaaaack!

It's been a loooong time since I've posted my cute little face online but I'm back!  Last week was pretty rough.  I was very busy joining Mom at a bunch of her doctor's appointments, but she's better and back in action!  Over the weekend, Mom, Dad and I went to Boston for Dad's HBS reunion so I got to meet a lot of their friends.  And now Nana and I are having a great time hanging out and letting Mom sleep.  I just started sleeping 4 (and sometimes 5!) hours at night, can you believe it?!

Well, what else is new?  I turned one month old on May 9 (Uncle Andrew's birthday!) and I'm VERY advanced for my age.  My neck control is amazingly impressive.  I love doing tummy time on mommy and daddy's chest.  I'm fascinated by any kind of light and am very curious about my surroundings.  And last but not least, I'm weighing in at almost 9 lbs and measuring 21.5 inches tall these days!
happy one month birthday to ME!!

Happy Mothers Day!!

Happy Mother's Day Mommy!!!  Dad and I planned a GREAT day for Mom.  It started off perfectly because I slept for 3.5 hours straight!  That might not seem like a big deal, but I average about 2.5 hours between my meals every day/night so 3.5 hours seemed like an eternity!!  After we woke up, Dad picked up the flowers I ordered for Mommy.  They were the most beautiful flowers ever so Mom forgave me for all the nights I've kept her up.  Then, this afternoon we went to my friend Dhilan's house in the suburbs where we spent the day with his parents, Vinod and Puja.  He is so big and handsome and I can't wait to play with him again!
